It comes across as no new secret that Kartik Aaryan is mesmerised by Deepika Padukone. The young star has time and again expressed his admiration for the dimpled beauty, leaving fans desperate to watch them together onscreen. While Deepika broke millions of hearts by marrying Ranveer Singh, Kartik is still an eligible bachelor. Touching upon the topic of his wedding, Kartik, during an interview with an entertainment portal, told that he would like to tie the knot with someone like Deepika, who 'shows off her husband proudly'. Well, we wonder what's Ranveer's reaction to Kartik's wish.
"Someone like Deepika Padukone. One who shows off her husband proudly," Kartik told.
Kartik, during the interview, when asked whether he will be working with Katrina Kaif anytime soon, replied by saying he will look better with Deepika too. "I actually look better with DP also. Will you find our pairing interesting as well? You answer this. Please manifest this into the universe that I do a film with DP," Kartik added.
Kartik and Deepika made headlines for their social media banter before the release of the former's Pati Patni Aur Woh last year. The two also grabbed attention for dancing together to the tunes of the film's song titled Dheeme Dheeme in public, at the Mumbai airport.
