Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are undoubtedly one of the most sought after couple in the world of cricket and films. From cheering for each other to taking picturesque vacations together, the couple never fails to cast their magic. While it is a known fact that Anushka, like a doting wife, misses not a single cricket match of India. Supporting her husband Virat with cheers and claps, the actress can be seen in the stands throughout with her attention on the field. But did you know that the case with Virat on Anushka's film shoot set was exactly the opposite? Well, yes.
Virat, last evening, got in a candid conversation with Sunil Chhetri on Instagram. The Indian football team captain turned host and was well armed with anecdotes before grilling the Indian cricket team captain. Sunil, in the beginning of the conversation, spoke about the time when Virat went to London and then Prague to be with Anushka during the shoot of one of her films. He touched upon the fact that the actress watches even a test match diligently. Sunil then went on to reveal that Virat, after spending five minutes on Anushka's shoot set, fell asleep.
Virat, in his defense, tried to say, "I reached at night and I went directly to the shoot. Jetlag will kick-in at some point," but till then Anushka, in the background, was heard calling him 'jhoota'. As soon as Anushka's prompt revelation came in, Virat was left red-faced and Sunil couldn't control his laughter.
Virat then explained the events that happened on the day of the shoot and said, "I was jet-lagged but when I started feeling sleepy, I did not go back to the hotel and instead slept in a van which was parked behind. The person I had told, didn't inform her that I am sleeping in the van. But I slept on the set, I didn't go to the hotel."
Not just this, but Ranveer Singh gatecrashed the interview and went on to address Virat by his nickname Cheeku. The actor commented, "Cheeku Jugaadu number one"
