Acclaimed actor Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to Facebook to share a heartfelt message for the late actor. She also shared one of Irrfan’s favourite songs that he listened to when he was feeling sad or despondent in life. The song is titled Nayan Tomare Pay Na Dekhite and is a Rabindra Sangeet by Bikram Singh.
Sharing the song on Facebook, Sutapa wrote, “My eternal love to him and gratitude to the universe and prayers for everyone in these extraordinary times while I pray for him... The song he loved and listened when sad and it soothes me now in the most difficult times.. my eyes can't see you but you remain in my vision.”

Irrfan passed away on April 29, in Mumbai leaving a deep void in Bollywood and the hearts of his friends, family, colleagues and fans. He was diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 and had undergone extensive treatment in London for the disease. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for a colon infection, from which he could not recover and breathed his last at the age of 53 years.
