Acclaimed Bollywood and Hollywood actor Irrfan breathed his last on April 29 at the Kokilaben Ambani hospital. The actor, aged 54, was admitted to the hospital for a colon infection. Soon after the devastating news broke out, tributes from all corners of the world poured out for the legendary actor. Saba Qamar, who was seen with Irrfan in the superhit film Hindi Medium, during an interview with a leading daily, recalled precious moments with him. The Lahore based actress told that she learned a lot from Irrfan. She further added that there wasn't a single dull moment on the sets with him.
“I’ve learned a lot from Irrfan. Working with him was nothing less than a fan moment for me throughout. As an actor, I believe that acting is actually behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances. And I actually saw that in him. There was never a dull moment when he was around. We used to crack jokes with each other all the time. He always used to make me learn new things and give pro tips on life," Saba told.
Recalling an incident from the shoot of Hindi Medium, Saba told she will always cherish the time she spent with him. “When I entered the room where he was sitting, he started singing the song Badan pe sitaraey... for me. I’ll always cherish the entire time I’ve spent with him,” Saba added.
On the news of Irrfan's death, a number of Pakistani celebrities offered condolence to the family on Instagram.
Irrfan is survived by his wife Sutapa Sikdar and sons Babil-Ayaan. His last film was Homi Adajania's Angrezi Medium which released in March this year.
