Watch: Ayushmann Khurrana plays 'Bella Ciao' from 'Money Heist' on the piano, expresses desire to play the role of the Professor

Netflix's Money Heist aka La Casa de Papel is undoubtedly one of the finest shows streaming on the digital platform. A game-changer in totality, the Spanish action-thriller is loved by audiences all over the globe. As Money Heist's fourth season premiered recently, people locked down inside their homes due to Coronavirus pandemic, are engrossed in watching the series diligently. Ayushmann Khurrana falls amongst those who can't stop admiring the thriller. The actor, currently at his residence in Mumbai, expressed his love for the show, especially the Professor aka Álvaro Morte by recreating his look.

In a video shared by Ayushmann on Instagram, he sported spectacles similar to the one the Professor wears and was seen playing the tune of Bella Ciao from Money Heist on the piano. The actor who was last seen in Hitesh Kewalya's Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan released on February 21, expressed his desire to play a role that resembles the character sketch and graph of the Professor. He further gave a shoutout to filmmakers to write a script for him where he can be the Professor. "I want to be the professor. That’s why I’m wearing similar glasses and playing Bella Ciao. I want to put this out in the universe. Hello reverent filmmakers, are you listening? Please! I’m dying to do something like this. I’m itching to go on sets and work, like each and every human on this planet. We all want to go out and work. But patience is a virtue they say. Till then Bella Ciao," Ayushmann wrote.

Workwise, Ayushmann has been enjoying a great run at the cinema currently. In 2019, he delivered hits with Article 15, Dream Girl and Bala. This year, the audience shall see him in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from that, the actor is said to collaborate with Anubhav Sinha yet again for a political thriller and will frontline the yet-to-be-announced film, tentatively titled Stree Rog Vibhag.
