Yami Gautam’s fans call out Filmfare Awards for snubbing the actress’s impeccable performance in ‘Bala’ for the Best Supporting Actress nomination

The Filmfare awards are underway in Guwahati, Assam this year. However, they have once again garnered the ire of the filmbuffs as they have snubbed some of the best performances of the year. Last year, Taapsee Pannu had called them out for not nominating her for Manmarziyaan for which she had garnered critical acclaim as well as box office popularity.

However, this time around the fans of Yami Gautam have a bone to pick with the jury of the Filmfare award as they have overlooked Yami’s performance in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala. Her fans are unhappy with the fact that she deserved a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her impeccable performance in the film that also starred Bhumi Pednekar but she is not on the nominations list. Yami’s fans have started trending hashtags like #UnfairFilmfare for snubbing her act in Bala. Take a look at some of the tweets below.

The actresses who have been nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category are Amrita Singh for Badla, Amruta Subhash for Gully Boy, Kamini Kaushal for Kabir Singh, Madhuri Dixit for Kalank, Seema Pahwa for Bala and Zaira Wasim for The Sky Is Pink.
