Kabir Khan's '83 which is being touted as the biggest sports film of all times finally revealed its logo this morning. The actor Ranveer Singh who is essaying the character of Captain Kapil Dev in the film has been creating buzz already with his Instagram posts on the film. His real-life wife and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be also seen in the film as his reel wife Romi Dev.
Now, the makers have unveiled the first look of Tahir Raj Bhasin who will be essaying the role of Sunil Gavaskar. Ranveer shared the look and captioned it as, "TAHIR RAJ BHASIN as The Little Master SUNIL GAVASKAR #ThisIs83" Tahir's impeccable resemblance to Sunil looks unbelievably good in his first look.
'83 traces the historic victory of the Indian cricket team during the 1983 world cup. The Kabir directorial is being presented by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment. '83 also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Hardy Sandhu, and Chirag Patil among others. The film '83 would be the first-ever trilingual release for both, Ranveer and director Kabir in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Touted to be the biggest sports film of all time, ‘83 is being co-produced by Madhu Mantena, Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release on April 10, 2020.
