The trailer of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Darbar was launched today at an event. The superstar was flanked by director AR Murugadoss and his co-stars Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar. Rajinikanth is playing the role of a cop after twenty five long years in Darbar and the audience is visibly excited to see him in uniform once again.
During the trailer launch event, he was asked who would be the real Thalaiva if the cop universe of Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg, Akshay Kumar's Veer Sooryavanshi from Sooryavanshi, Ranveer Singh's Simmba and Ajay Devgn's Singham came under one ‘Darbar’, to this the superstar has a very witty answer. Darbar also stars Nayanthara in the lead. It is produced by Lyca Productions and is slated to release on Makar Sankranti 2020.
