'The Zoya Factor' trailer: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Dulquer Salmaan light up the screen with their 'Z Factor' in this tale of love, luck and cricket

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's and Dulquer Salmaan's The Zoya Factor has managed to pique the interest of the audience ever since it was announced. With interesting, quirky and out-of-the-box posters, teasers and promos, in particularly the Zoya Kavach videos, the makers managed to build the right amount of anticipation surrounding the project. And now, after much wait and curiosity, the team unveiled the trailer of the film on Thursday. For the unversed, the trailer was initially slated for a release on Tuesday but got postponed but it was all worth the wait.

The Zoya Factor primarily revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki aka Sonam, an advertising agent, who believes herself to be an unlucky person. But little does she know that she will be hailed as the Indian cricket team's lucky charm. A while into the trailer, we are introduced to Nikhil aka Salmaan, who leads the Indian team that is facing a continuous failure at matches. And as Zoya and Nikhil meet each other and fall in love, the fate of the team changes and glorious victories queue up. However, unlike other team members including Angad Bedi's Robin, Nikhil fails to believe in luck and emphasizes on hard work. And what follows next remains to be a secret that the film can decode brilliantly.

With the backdrop set against harmless superstitions, the film assures to be a hilarious and quirky roller coaster ride which will leave behind a wide smile on the face of the audience and this trailer is proof. Apart from Sonam, Angad and Salmaan, The Zoya Factor stars Sanjay Kapoor as Sonam's father and Saurabh Shukla amongst others. The film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma, and Fox Star Hindi is producing it. The film is slated to release on September 20, 2019.
