Ever since Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala was announced, the audience was waiting with bated breath for further updates on the project. And now, the makers finally decided to delight them with the first teaser of the film. The teaser was dropped on social media platforms on Monday and oh boy, it is something worth your attention. The film touches upon the concept of premature balding and adds a dash of fun and romance to it, making a perfect recipe called a blockbuster.
The teaser opens to Ayushmann riding a bike while imitating Shah Rukh Khan's mannerisms to the song 'Koi Na Koi Chahiye'. Soon after, the cap that Ayushmann sports is taken away by strong winds, revealing that our hero is on the verge of complete baldness. Then, the lush green surrounding turns into barren land, indicating the lack of love in Ayushmann's character's life owing to his hair woos. The teaser, for sure makes the wait for the trailer even more difficult now. With a fine performer like Ayushmann in the central role, we can expect something unusual yet brilliant from the film. Bala is directed by Amar Kaushik, who made his Bollywood directorial debut with Rajkummar Rao's and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree in 2018. Apart from Ayushmann, the film stars Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in lead roles. With Bala, Ayushmann will be collaborating with Bhumi for the third time after Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Dum Laga Ke Haisha. He will be working with his debut film Vicky Donor co-star Yami for the second time after seven years. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. Bala is scheduled to release on November 22, 2019.
