The makers of Raaj Shaandilyaa's Dream Girl recently released the trailer of the comedy-drama. The film that features Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles is touted to be an out and out comedy film. This will be the first time Nushrat and Ayushmann get to share screen space. Nushrat Bharucha plays the role of a small-town girl in the film while Ayushmann respires the role of a Radio Jockey who impresses everyone with his girly voice as Puja.
The trailer begins with Ayushmann dressed as Sita for a small play. The actor then goes on a hunt for a job and soon after is employed as a girl named Puja at a Radio Station. Puja makes all her callers fall in love with her dreamy voice. Nushrat plays the role of Ayushmann's ladylove, unaware of the fact that he is the real Puja. Ayushmann as Puja then becomes everyone's 'Dream Girl' in this quirky comedy-drama. Watch the trailer here:
Dream Girl, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, was shot in Mathura, Agra, Faridabad and Mumbai. The story is set in Mathura. The film is slated to release on September 13.
