Back with a bang! Irrfan shoots for an eight-hour shift, five-six days a week for 'Angrezi Medium' in London

Irrfan, who returned from London in February this year after completing his treatment for neuroendocrine tumour, is all set for his comeback film Angrezi Medium. The actor is currently shooting in London and well, according to close sources, he is giving his 100% and putting in a lot of hard work for the film.

A source from the set informed "The month-long stint sees the team filming a major chunk of the satire. The schedule has been designed in such a manner that no actor is held back longer than he is required. Typically, Irrfan shoots about five to six days a week, with an eight-hour shift. His wife Sutapa schedules his check-up on his day off, and his recovery has been steady. Since the hospital is in London, Irrfan can get himself monitored on a regular basis. He also follows a strict, organic diet as prescribed by his doctors and nutritionist."

The actor is enjoying the process of taking the story of his 2017 hit, Hindi Medium, forward. The source added, "While the actor is taking necessary precautions during the shoot, he is also ensuring that his health doesn't affect the project's timeline. He prepares for his scenes in advance, ensuring that he completes his portions every day."

Speaking of Angrezi Medium, the principal shoot started in Udaipur on April 7 with Irrfan making his first appearance in front of the camera after recovering from Neuroendocrine Tumor. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan have been cast in the lead role with Irrfan. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.
