I took inspiration from my cousins and other family members: Salman Khan on his salt-and-pepper look in ‘Bharat’

Salman Khan is busy promoting his upcoming film Bharat and is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film gets a good opening. The actor dons six different looks in the film that is a period drama and probably for the first time in his Bollywood career will be seen in a salt-and-pepper look in the film. In a recent interview, Salman spoke about his veteran avatar in the film and how he got the inspiration for the look.

Talking about his old avatar, Salman said, “Basically all my cousins have the same look. So, most of them in Indore, they have salt-and-pepper look. They all have the same look. From my dad's brother-in-law to that whole family, we call them bhaiya ji, each one of them have that same look. To play the character. I mean my father is 84. He (Bharat) spoke the way he (my dad) speaks. So we just kept the character young. My dad can climb 20 stairs with ease. So, we played it proper tough, macho and thoda sa khadus.”
