Malaal: With Meezaan Jaffrey's first song 'Aila Re', here's why we are reminded of his father Jaaved Jaaferi's 80s hit 'Bol Baby Bol Rock N Roll'

The makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Malaal, featuring his niece Sharmin Sehgal and Jaaved Jaaferi's son Meezaan Jaffrey, dropped the first song from the film titled Aila Re. The song introduces Javed's son Meezaan's character in the film named Shiva with a backdrop of a dance bar. The grand and spectacular introductory song plays witness to Meezaan's impeccable dancing skills as he is seen grooving to the racy and upbeat tunes of the song perfectly.

With Meezaan's first song Aila Re, we are surely reminded of his father Jaaved's first song Bol Baby Bol Rock N Roll from the film Meri Jung.

IMPECCABLE DANCE MOVES

Both Meezaan and father Jaffrey took their songs by storm by their impeccable dance moves.

80s MASALA

Even though Malaal is a new age love story, the backdrop of Aila Re gives it an 80s touch just like Bol Baby Bol Rock N Rol.

UNMATCHABLE EXPRESSIONS

Looks like Meezaan has got it from his father Jaaved. From expressions to looks, the newbie kills it just like Jaaved.

UPBEAT NUMBER

Both Aila Re and Bol Baby Bol Rock N Rol are upbeat numbers with racy tunes.

PUMPED UP ENERGY

What energy and enthusiasm both Meezaan and Jaaved have spread with their songs.

Aila Re is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's composition while vocals are by Vishal Dadlani. The rap portion in the song is sung by Shreyas Puranik whereas the lyrics are written by Prashant Ingole. The song is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Malaal is the story of Shiva and Astha, two very different people from contrasting backgrounds who experience the innocence of love. Does their love find its destination or do they part ways, you will know on July 5th, 2019.
