Salman Khan who is all set for his next big film Bharat recently spoke about how Priyanka Chopra, who was originally paired opposite him in the film, could help in the film's promotion. Priyanka had backed out of Bharat last year due to her wedding with Nick Jonas. She was then replaced by Katrina Kaif who now plays the role of Ms. Kumud Raina in the film.
Salman recently talked about Priyanka in an interview and said that since Priyanka loved the script so much, she can at least promote the film. Salman said, “She is not there in the film but she can help in the promotion of the film because it was, you know, she had also loved the script.” Furthermore, Salman quipped about Priyanka choosing her personal life over her professional and said, “And she (Priyanka Chopra), over Bharat, did choose USA in the nick of time. She has worked hard all her life, okay? And when she got the biggest film of her life, she dumped that film and got married. You know, HATS OFF! Usually, people leave their husbands for films like these.”
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is all set to release on June 5, 2019.
