Mahesh Babu’s much-awaited film Maharshi released today and has occupied one of the top spots on the trends list. #MaharshiDay is one of the top trends on Twitter as well as the internet is buzzing with activity and presenting their reviews of the film on social media. Almost all tweets are in favour of Maharshi as Twitter praised Mahesh’s performance in it and declared it as a blockbuster already.
Most said that the first half of the film is superb while the second half is pretty much loaded with emotional scenes and dialogues. Maharshi depicts Mahesh’s character’s journey and features the actor as a college student, business tycoon and a common man.
Twitter is of the opinion that the first half is gripping for sure while Mahesh’s act as a college student and billionaire in particular is “terrific”. Actions sequences were hailed as well as was the script while fans also enjoyed the songs.

Maharshi, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, will break many pre-conceived notions about Mahesh is what he had opined previously in an interview. Speaking about the film, Mahesh had said, "It's a film that has so much to offer. It has a very powerful social message that is well-laced with other commercial elements. I say it's a film unlike anything I've done so far because audiences can easily relate to my character Rishi. The journey of my character will be both interesting and inspiring.”
