Motherhood trumps being married, it will happen at some point, but it’s unfair to put women through the interrogation: Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot last year in a fairytale destination wedding at Lake Como in Italy. The couple tied the knot after dating for almost six years and now after their marriage pregnancy rumours are afoot. However, in a recent interview, Deepika chose to address these rumours and slammed the speculations saying, “It will happen when it has to happen.

During the interview to a recent portal, Deepika said, “Motherhood trumps being married. That's what I hear from people who have had children. Of course, it will happen at some point but no, I think it is unfair to put women through that, to put a couple through that. I guess the day we stop asking the questions is when we will bring about change."
