The much-awaited Filmfare Awards 2019 concluded on Saturday night at Jio Garden in Mumbai. Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt took home the black lady in the Best Actor (Popular) category. While Ranbir won the award for his role in his highly appreciated 2018 film Sanju, Alia was appreciated for her spectacular role of Sehmat in her 2018 film Raazi.
Post that, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor posted a stunning picture of her son Ranbir along with girlfriend Alia from the Filmfare Awards. In the picture, both of them can be seen looking at each other while on stage with their respective Best Actor trophies. Stating that she is 'proud and happy', Neetu wrote, "AND moments like these make you forget all the stress."

Interestingly, Alia could not help but thank her "special one" as she accepted the Best Actor (Female) trophy. "Tonight is all about love; there, my special one, I love you (Ranbir Kapoor)," she had said in her acceptance speech.
Meanwhile, Alia's mother and actress Soni Razdan too shared her excitement on her daughter and Ranbir winning the coveted awards. "Congratulations you two ... happiness and proudness," she mentioned in her Instagram post.

For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia have been dating for over a year now and their families have unofficially given a nod to their match. On the work front, the two share screen space together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
