Johny Lever and his daughter Jamie to share screen space with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh in Housefull 4

Actor Johny Lever and his daughter Jamie Lever have joined the cast of Housefull 4, headlined by Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, a leading daily reports. Sources told the daily that Johny and Jamie will play significant roles in Housefull 4 while she will share screen space with Akshay and Riteish.

“Jamie would enact her scenes with her father to improve her comic timing. The script has her sharing screen space with Akshay and Riteish. It is a screenplay-driven humour, more in the situational comedy sphere, so it was all about getting the expressions right,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily.

Housefull 4 revolves around the theme of reincarnation while the report states that the film has been conceptualized in a manner as it is set in two eras. Jamie and Johny will appear in both. “The Baahubali era is a set-up of huge palaces and heavy costumes for which the actors underwent a special makeover with an element of humour in it too,” the source added.

Jamie, daughter of Johny Lever and his wife Sujata Janumala, has a Masters degree in Marketing Communications from University of Westminster, London. Apart from performing as a stand-up comedian, Jamie also appeared in the television show Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali and Kapil Sharma’s 2015 film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.

As for Housefull 4, Farhad Samji’s film has been filmed in UK and London. The film co-stars Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Rana Daggubati.

Johny Lever has appeared in comic roles in several films including Baazigar, Judaai, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, Khiladi and Golmaal 3.
