Uri actor Dhairya Karwa joins Ranveer Singh’s winning team in '83 as all-rounder Ravi Shastri

Ranveer Singh, who is basking in the glory of his last release Gully Boy, will be next seen playing skipper Kapil Dev director Kabir Khan’s forthcoming film '83. It was recently reported that Harrdy Sandhu and Saqib Saleem have been roped in to portray former cricketer Madan Lal and all-rounder Mohinder Amarnath respectively in the biographical drama, based on India's incredible 1983 cricket World Cup victory.

Now as per a report in a leading daily, '83 has one more addition to the stellar cast as Dhairya Karwa, who played Captain Sartaj Singh Chandok in Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike, will play all-rounder Ravi Shastri in the film. Apparently, the actor has already started training for his part in Mumbai with the other team members.
