Ever since the first look of Ayushmann Khurrana's next project, Dream Girl released, we have been waiting for the film impatiently. The latest update on Dream Girl is that Manjot Singh, best known for his role in Fukrey, has been roped in to play the role of Ayushmann's best friend. Manjot's character is pivotal to the film, a leading daily reports.
An elated Manjot said that Dream Girl is one of the "funniest scripts" that he has read and is delighted to work with Ayushmann in the film “I am thrilled to work with Ayushmann and director Raaj Shaandilyaa. It is one of the funniest scripts I have read in a while and the journey has been super fun,” Manjot told the daily.

The report also states that Manjot plays Ayushmann's partner in crime in the film. Dream Girl also features Nushrat Bharucha and is bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures.

Manjot was last seen in Fukrey Returns in 2017. He has films like Udaan, Student of the Year and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye to his credit.
