Peepingmoon.com recently informed you that Katrina Kaif opted out Remo D’Souza’s 3D dance film, tentatively titled Street Dancer, since she has given bulk dates to Bharat which Salman Khan is looking to release on Eid 2019. Ever since the news broke out, speculations were rife that Shraddha Kapoor, who was really the film’s original choice, will be stepping into Katrina's shoes. And now, Shraddha has finally confirmed the news that she is "excited" to reunite with Remo, Prabhudehva and Varun Dhawan.
The actress told a leading daily, "This was made possible by Bhushanji (producer Bhushan Kumar) (who brought us back and believed in this amazing story. It is going to be a lot of hard work for everyone involved but we are all pumped up."
Interestingly, Varun, Remo, and Shraddha gave a blockbuster together in ABCD 2 (2015) and we are eagerly waiting to watch this trio collaborate once again.

Furthermore, T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar, who is producing the film with Remo’s wife Lizelle, is keen on making the project the India’s biggest dance film in 3D. On the other hand, Remo is releived that the cast of the film has finally come through. "It feels like old friends have come together to help us. We have worked as a team in the past and I’m sure it will be a fun ride again," he stated to the daily.
Street Dancer will begin filming in Punjab from January 22 and later the makers will travel to London to finish the rest of the shoot. Meanwhile, several names including Sara Ali Khan and Nora Fatehi have come up for the second lead opposite Varun. However, with no official confirmation, we will have to wait how that turns out!
