Thugs of Hindostan: Here's why Katrina Kaif couldn't trust Aamir Khan during the 'Making of Suraiyya'

The teaser of Thugs of Hindostan latest song Suraiyya, presenting Katrina Kaif in her hottest desi avatar to date, was released yesterday on October 24. It features Suraiyya (Katrina) casting her spell on Firangi (Aamir Khan) with her sizzling looks and hot dance moves. Now as the teaser has met with a fabulous response, the TOH team has now unveiled the making video to showcase the hard work that went behind bringing this peppy number on screen.

Be it the camaraderie between the two actors or the tiring practice sessions, the video depicts everything that happened behind the cameras. What's more, the makers share how everyone was in awe of Katrina for her sheer dedication to put her best foot forward for this dance number. In fact, at one point in the video, Aamir can be seen saying, "I would not have been able to perform the steps had I been rehearsing for 10 years, but Katrina managed to pull them off."

On the other hand, Katrina reveals that how she was unable to trust Aamir while rehearsing for one particular step in Suraiyya. "So when I was rehearsing with the dancer I was fine, but whenever we used to rehearse together, I would not have the confidence to leave my body and I just couldn't put that trust in him," she says in the making video.

Not to forget, the makers roped in Prabhudheva to choreograph Suraiyya. Meanwhile, the song teaser features Aamir, dressed as a British captain, having the guts to woo Katrina in front of a room filled with British officers.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs of Hindostan also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on November 8 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
