Akshay Kumar undertook the Sui Dhaaga Challenge but did he succeed? Find out here

Ahead of the release of their film Sui Dhaaga, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma introduced a challenge on social media in a bid to promote their new project. The Sui Dhaaga challenge involves a task of threading a needle because it certainly isn’t as easy as it seems. Along with Anushka, Varun has mastered the craft and thereafter, nominated Akshay Kumar to check whether “unmein hai woh baat.”

Akshay willingly accepted the challenge as he posted a video of himself in which he attempted to thread a needle. Did he succeed? We’ll tell you the story. The 51-year-old actor set himself a time limit of ten seconds and asked his camera person to count. So, ten seconds it was but Akshay, unfortunately, failed to accomplish his mission. Nevertheless, Akshay did try and that’s what matters, isn’t it? In his video, meanwhile, Akshay also wished luck to Varun for Sui Dhaaga.

Sui Dhaaga espouses self-reliance and narrates a story inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy. The plotline also gives impetus to the Make In India campaign. Directed by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga is scheduled to release on September 28.
