The Sky Is Pink: Farhan Akhtar to have a little screen space in this Priyanka Chopra starrer?

Actress Priyanka Chopra just indirectly announced her next, The Sky Is Pink, when she uploaded a picture of the script on her Instagram story the other day. The film is based on Aisha Chaudhary, a 19-year-old teenage girl from Gurgaon with an immune deficiency disorder. Reportedly, Priyanka is going to play Aisha's mother while it's Farhan Akhtar who will be featured as the girl's father.

The latest update in the news has it that the actor might not be having a lot of screen space in the film. Farhan was last seen in Lucknow Central (2017), which didn't do well at the Box Office.

The Sky Is Pink, written by National Award winning writer, Juhi Trivedi, majorly focuses on the girl and her inspiring life-story. Actress Zaira Wasim, whose Secret Superstar (2017) won her accolades from all around, is playing Aisha's character in the film.

A report in a leading daily reveals that Farhan's screen timing in this Shonali Bose's directorial is not quite prominent. It quotes a source saying, "Essentially, the plot revolves around Zaira Wasim, who plays Aisha, and Priyanka Chopra, who will be seen as her mother. Farhan, who essays the part of the father, doesn’t have as much screen time".

Whatever Farhan's screen timing is, when a film as important and special as this is made, every character becomes crucial! Isn't it?
