Shraddha Kapoor opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the untitled Nitesh Tiwari directorial?

Seems like Shraddha Kapoor has got another interesting project in her kitty. We might just see the actress opposite actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the recently announced untitled film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

If the report published in a leading tabloid has anything to go by, then the makers have zeroed-in on Shraddha as the leading lady of their film, which is going to be a social drama. The director, who has earlier helmed Dangal, one of the most successful Hindi movies, took to Twitter to announce this project. He posted: "A story I am excited to tell. Releases on August 30, 2019. Cast to be announced soon, stay tuned."

The movie is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who added, "The film is a riveting story on today’s generation."

As mentioned in the same report, while Shraddha hasn't signed the film as yet, she has shown keen interest in it. "The actress has had multiple meetings with the makers and is keen to come on board the film, but is yet to sign on the dotted line," the report quoted a source.

The movie, as reported in the media, will go on floors in November this year. Which means both Sushant and Shraddha will have enough time to wrap up their previous work commitments.

While the actress is currently busy prepping up for Amol Gupte's Saina Nehwal biopic, Sushant is about to finish shooting Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath, which has Sara Ali Khan debuting opposite him. He, then, has the Hindi remake of The Fault in Our Stars which is being directed by the popular casting director, Mukesh Chhabra. Shraddha, meanwhile, also has Saaho, a Telugu-Tamil-Hindi trilingual, which features Baahubali star -- Prabhas opposite him.

The movie is expected to be set in an engineering college and is going to be a student drama with a social message. If this goes well, we'll see another fresh pairing in Bollywood.
