Preity Zinta on being happy over Mumbai Indians' knock-out: All is fair in love and IPL

Actress Preity Zinta is the proud owner of IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab, and is always seen boosting the morale of her team players both on and off the field. Only recently her expressive attitude wasn't taken in a positive stride by people on social media.

In a video that surfaced on the day when KXIP lost to Chennai Super Kings, the actress was seen saying she was happy over Mumbai Indians being knocked out of the game. The team which is owned by Nita and Mukesh Ambani lost the match, which benefited Preity's KXIP and increased its chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

The video went viral and the actress' stance on Mumbai Indians' defeat wasn't appreciated. However, Preity has now taken to Twitter to clarify her 'happiness.' She said it's just natural for her to feel ecstatic because Mumbai Indians losing the match meant her team's qualification for the playoffs.
