Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer Race 3 to release in 3D

What's an Eid without theatres jam-packed with fans of Bhaijaan cheering on for his blockbuster release? Like all the previous Salman Khan hits, the superstar's upcoming action thriller Race 3 is scheduled to be released coinciding with the Eid festival on June 15. Salman who is jointly producing the third instalment in the Race series with Ramesh Taurani wants to ensure to give his audience the best of the experience.

In a recent development, it has been learnt that in order to ensure a larger-than-life experience this time, Race 3 will be releasing in 3D as well. Yes, the film will be released in 3D as well as 2D this Eid. The trailer of the movie is slated to be unveiled tomorrow, in Mumbai.

Recently, a report published in a leading daily suggested that Race 3 was eyeing an Eid 2018 (June 15) release but might get delayed. It was claimed that producer Ramesh Taurani had been unable to find a distributor who could match the lofty Rs.150 crore theatrical rights asking price of Race 3. With the multi-starrer helmed by Salman apparently not being able to find takers, it was surmised that the film would be unable to keep its date with the box office on June 15. However, dispersing the cloud of gloom caused by that revelation, director Remo D’Souza stepped in to assure us all that all is well.

Meanwhile, Salman dropped a cryptic post on his Twitter handle on Monday. The actor, who ensured that the trailer will be launched on May 15, tweeted a day earlier saying, 'Kal ka mujhe thoda doubtful lag raha hai (I doubt about tomorrow)' Guess we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out!

Last week, we had shared an apparent picture from the trailer that is being widely shared by fans on Twitter. In the image, Salman is seen holding a gun in his hand as he gets into the racer mode with an intense look on his handsome face. The superstar is sporting a black t-shirt in what is visibly a screen look.

The final leg of shooting for the film was wrapped up in Leh and Ladakh since Salman was not allowed to travel abroad by the court since his conviction in the blackbuck poaching case. Race 3 stars Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Freddy Daruwala and Saqib Saleem in the lead roles besides Salman.
