The star-studded launch of Veere Di Wedding trailer was talk of the town today. The Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas trailer quashes the norms of a chic flick and shows the side of women who are fearless to dream and live life on their own terms.
But one couldn't escape the fact Sonam hogged the media limelight at the launch, for all the right reasons. With the reports of her getting hitched to beau Anand Ahuja on may 7 and 8, 2018, in Mumbai, this 'Veere's wedding was indeed what interested everyone present at the venue.
On stage, when Sonam was asked questions about her impending wedding, she tactfully and smilingly answered, “I am here for the Veere Di Wedding trailer launch, so let us all talk about it instead of my wedding.” The actress insisted on the fact that she shares a great rapport with the media in all these years and will not go about doing her business secretly without even letting them know. “The media has always supported me and I have shared a great rapport. So I will let you know all about it when the time is right. But this is not the right time or platform,” said Ms to-be-bride.

Funnily enough, when everyone was asked about who do they think about when the term 'Veere' pops up, Kareena couldn't help contain her excitement and answered, "SONAM", making the Neerja actress blush red.
