Sanjay Dutt walks out when asked about Madhuri Dixit. Watch Video

A man might grow longer in the tooth and calmer in the temper but there are some things guaranteed to rub him the wrong way… Sanjay Dutt is ample proof. The star had attended a celebrity cricket tournament recently, which was also attended by Suniel Shetty, Sohail Khan and others. Surrounded by his friends and adoring fans, Baba – as he is fondly known – was having himself a good time. Till someone uttered the ‘M’ word and apparently ruined it for him!
Dutt walked out of the press interaction as soon he was questioned about reuniting with Madhuri onscreen after two decades!

Dutt is supposed to be pairing up with his old flame, Madhuri Dixit in an upcoming Dharma production after 21 long years. Mads had sportingly stepped in after the untimely demise of Sridevi, who was originally supposed to essay the role. Dutt had already given his nod to the film. However, this changed casting equation is evidently not to his liking at all. And when quizzed at the event about his reuniting with Madhuri onscreen, he not just avoided answering the question, but actually turned on his heel and left the event altogether!

Madhuri remains a very sore point, where Baba is concerned. They go back a long way and were rumoured to be in a relationship, which was the talk of the town back in the Nineties. However, love flew out of the window and the affair fizzled out after the troubled actor was arrested under TADA in 1993. He went on to serve a sentence of five years for being in possession of an AK-56 rifle and his connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

Madhuri had always denied being in a relationship with Sanjay. Sanju, however, in the course of an interview in 1993 when he was released for a short period from jail, had admitted that he had apologised to her after the news broke out as she had to face the brunt of it.

Things clearly haven’t improved between these exes in these two decades...and we can’t say we blame him!
