Salman Khan has been caught up in the shoot for his next multi-starrer Race 3 and kickstarting his Da-Bangg tour in Pune. During the course of a media interaction, he answered the question that people have been constantly asking him. His former Veergati co-star, Pooja Dadwal has been suffering from tuberculosis and has been financially unstable to help herself.
Talking to a news portal about her illness Pooja asked the superstar to aid her financially. Finally, during the tour, Salman opened up and said, “We are trying to help as much as we can. So I think Aunty (Helen Aunty) was already onto it and taken care of it. In fact, I didn't know that she was going through this difficult phase in her life but, umm, yeah, I think she will be okay,” It is also being said that Helen has helped Pooja through the Being Human foundation with a sum of Rs. 15 Lacs.

Earlier, Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan came forward to help the ailing actress. The actor is currently busy filming for his next film MLA in Hyderabad, he asked his acquaintance to see Pooja and sent her help in the form of some money and fruits. His acquaintance, Pappu Yadav has mentioned to a leading daily that Ravi always helps those in need. He also mentioned that the two have previously worked together in a film directed by Vinay Lad.
Pooja, who is suffering from the life-threatening illness has been admitted to a Goa hospital for over 15 days now. Talking to leading daily she said, “I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea,”
According to reports, her condition has been deteriorating and the key reason for it her dire lack of financial support. Apart from her famous Veergati with Salman, she has also part of Hindustan and Sindoor Saugand.
