The stalemate ends and Sara Ali Khan can smile again!
It was a month ago that Kedarnath was grounded post an ugly fallout between director Abhishek Kapoor and producers KriArj. Thankfully, better sense has now prevailed and the hatchet has been buried. Shooting is set to resume in the first week of April.
Buzz goes that after all the heat and dust of the allegations and counter-allegations, both Abhishek and Prernaa Arora and Arjun Kapoor realised that they needed to come to a compromise so as not to further jeopardise the fate of their film. Both parties sat down and decided to resolve their issues the best way they could. The thrashing out has worked and now KriArj has also withdrawn the case they had slapped on Abhishek.
This reconciliation sees the filming of Kedarnath back on track.

Leading man, Sushant Singh Rajput is currently shooting for Son Chiriya but when he returns to Mumbai by the end of the month, he will resume shooting for Kedarnath. Shooting is set to begin on April 4 at Film City. The 20-day schedule will take place at an elaborate set that has been created for the disaster film. It is learnt that the location will then change for the last leg of shoot.
Kedarnath, which is a love story set amidst the floods in the temple town, had been practically derailed by in-fighting. The producers and director had gone their separate ways this February after a huge fracas. KriArj had blamed Abhishek Kapoor’s unprofessional behaviour and mismanagement for the constant delays the film was facing.
In return, Abhishek accused Prernaa and Arjun of lack of transparency in the matter of financial dealings.
It reached a point where Abhishek declared that he would take Kedarnath ahead as a solo producer. However, this move was thwarted by KriArj, who filed a lawsuit against Kapoor, accusing him of breach of contract.
With matters evidently resolved between both parties, all can hopefully breathe easy, right, Sara Ali Khan and, even more importantly, mama Amrita Singh?!
