Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar to collaborate on another project!

Akshay Kumar is currently celebrating the success of his yet another socially driven film on menstrual hygiene: PadMan. A biopic on Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented a low-cost sanitary napkin making the machine, sure has won the hearts of many. The actor, going beyond the promotional campaigns, is leaving no stone unturned to spread awareness about menstruation even after the film's release. With a goal to install sanitary pad vending machines throughout the country, the actor has really taken the issue as much more than a film.

Speaking on the same, today, at a press conference for PadMan's success, Akshay said that these social issues have always been more than just a film to them. "I look at them as a movement," he said. Appointed as the brand ambassador of 'Clean UP mission' by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, the actor has carried forward the message of sanitization and construction of toilets in every home. Akshay also revealed about an upcoming short film which is under works and will be seen collaborating again with his Toilet: Ek Prem Katha co-star Bhoomi Pednekar.

He urged the film to be played in every sector and to be watched by every family member.

Akshay also talked about how his kids watched the movie and how he and his son Aarav had a talk about certain things, which the actor found too personal to share during the press meet.

Speaking of what's next on his social agenda in terms of films, the actor revealed that he has nothing planned as such but will complete Housefull 4.
