There is a strong buzz in the industry that it will be Amy Jackson who will be seen next to Salman Khan in Kick 2. Apparently, many actresses, including Deepika Padukone's name was doing the rounds for the film but reportedly it didn't work out.
Now, as per a leading film magazine, Amy has bagged the role. There isn't a lot of information on the film yet but is said that Salman might be seen playing a double role. Recently, the director of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala, announced on Twitter saying, "The wait is over! #DEVILisBACK!!". The sequel is set to release on Christmas 2019.

In the prequel (Kick), Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez were seen sharing the screen space. This film also marked Sajid's directorial debut and went on to become a box office hit. The on-screen couple worked wonders, hence, it might come as a shock to many that if she won't be seen in the film's sequel.
Currently, Salman is shooting for Race 3 opposite Jacqueline, so it can be a possibility that makers may decide to try a new pairing in Kick 2 rather than repeating the couple.
As for Amy, she is already a popular face in the South Indian film industry and will be seen next in 2.0 alongside Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar. The actress has previously worked with Arbaaz and Sohail Khan in the film, Freaky Ali.
