It looks like actor Armaan Kohli of Bigg Boss fame and controversies go hand in hand. After being accused of allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa and later abusing and threatening a woman fashion designer over some monetary issue, Armaan has once again landed in trouble for his wrong ways. He has now taken into custody by the Excise Police for storing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey, a majority of which was purchased from abroad. The Excise Department raided the house of the 46-year old actor on Thursday night after getting a tip that Armaan has been storing bottles of liquor illegally. Post that, he was arrested and the police questioned Armaan at the Bandra excise station before making the news official.

According to the law, no individual is allowed to possess more than 12 units of hard liquor bottles for a month. Not to forget, a person is allowed to bring only two bottles from abroad at one particular time. For now, the Excise Police is cross-checking the price of each bottle since they are international brands. On a related note, Armaan will be presented in court on Friday and Under section 63(E) of Bombay Liquor Prohibition Act, he can get a jail term upto three year for possessing liquor in such a quantity. Meanwhile, this is the third time in the last year that Armaan has been arrested by the Police.
