For the very first time, Navi Mumbai witnessed a swimwear fashion show. It was at Infuze, the fashion, art and music event conceptualised by Nisha Haraale, at the Aqua poolside at The Park in Navi Mumbai.
Party people were chilling out by the poolside and then things started hotting up as the female models, looking good in stylish swimwear designed by Nidhi Kampani of her House of NM label, sashayed around the still waters of the pool and into your heart. The treat was that there was not one but two showstoppers: Mrs India Universe 2020 Ayessha Wadiwala and acclaimed actor Teena Singh. Other models included Ashika Pera, Sarah Corda, Yukta Subash, Sunidhi Chambal, Preet Shahhane and Sayali Khanvilkar. They were styled by Srishti Kumar with hair and makeup by Nikki Harale from The Makeover Story.
While the focus was on the females, the men were not left out as they soaked in the menswear collection from designer Rahul Kumar. Showcasing the street-smart styles were models Manav Bhavsar, Shubham Thakur, Raj Singh, Anas Muhammad and Bala Vignesh.
The art at the event saw Avantika (womenpow) painting on the bareback of a male model. There was also popup stalls with works by various artists. Mesmerising music was by multi-instrumentalist Clive Vaz. Ensuring that everyone had a good time was Rahul Makhija, GM, The Park Navi Mumbai and his team.
And the music and merriment continued at the after-party at Dusk with DJs Kevin from No Request, 2Souls and Madmaxraver.
