Asim Riaz claims Sidharth Shukla's Bigg Boss 13 win was rigged, Shehnaaz Gill's brother Shehbaz Badesha takes an indirect dig at him

Asim Riaz lost the Bigg Boss 13 trophy to Sidharth Shukla after coming close to it. He ended his journey as the runner-up. Asim and Sidharth were known to be sharing a bittersweet relationship throughout the show but they did mend it once they were out. Now, 3 years later, the Kashmiri model-rapper said in an interview that he believes the makers of Bigg Boss 13 didn't want him to win.

Without taking names, he hinted that Sidharth's Bigg Boss 13 win was rigged. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Asim told, "Mere dauraan unhone kya kiya, because they didn’t want me to win, haanji bhai aaj hum online voting khol denge 15 min ke liye, jitana hai jitao jisko. Come on man, just say you don’t want to make me win, it’s okay. You made it that obvious that we had to believe that you did whatever and I was like it’s okay."

Soon after the clip went viral, Shehnaaz Gill's brother Shehbaz Badesha tweeted a cryptic note. He wrote, "Some people still don’t understand sher ek hi hai aur ek hi rehta hai." Shehnaaz was a finalist of Bigg Boss 13. She and her brother shared a special bond with Sidharth, who passed away on September 2, 2021. The fans of the late actor reacted to his statement and slammed him for the same.

In the same interview, Asim said he knew about Sidharth's demise before it happened. He said, "He (Sidharth) came in my dream bro, I swear. I knew it before (it happened). I had a call from one of my cousins, Ruhaan called me up, usne mujhe bola bhai news on karna, he didn’t tell me because he knows how emotional and how sensitive I am."
