Tunisha Sharma’s sudden demise on the sets of her TV show, Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul and the subsequent arrest and judicial custody of her ex-boyfriend and co-star Sheezan Khan on the claims of abetment of suicide left the industry and her fans deep in shock. After losing both their lead co-stars the makers of the show were in a dilemma on how to proceed with the show. However, they have embarked on a foolproof idea and have brought the show with a twist. They have not only replaced the leading star cast but changed the name and revamped the show. A new promo of the show Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2 has been shared by Abhishek Nigam who is the new Ali Baba.
Taking to social media, Abhishek shared the promo and wrote, “Bass apka pyaar aur dua chahiye! Alibaba’s strength lies in his resilience. I am getting associated with the cast of, Alibaba: Ek Andaz Andekha Chapter 2 as Alibaba. I know the show has received Love in abundance. As an artist my first duty will always be towards the viewers then those who have put their blood and sweat behind the screen. This is huge and I’ll try to keep my focus on ensuring to keep them entertained through my portrayal of this iconic character.”
Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2 is the new version of Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. While Abhishek is finalized as the male lead, there are no details about who will be playing the female protagonist in the show. Hopefully, a new announcement will be made soon.
The new serial will air on Sony SAB from Monday to Friday at 8pm.
