Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actor Ishwar Thakur talks about kidney ailment, says 'don't have money to afford diapers, using old newspapers as substitute'

Ishwar Thakur, known for working in TV shows like Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai and FIR, has been diagnosed with a kidney ailment. In an interview with a leading daily, the actor opened up about suffering from health issues and a financial crisis. He revealed that he is unable to afford treatment. Ishwar further shared that due to the kidney ailment, he cannot hold his urine and because of financial restrictions, he is not able to buy diapers.

In the interview, he told, "I don't even have the money to buy diapers, so I am using old newspapers as a substitute. I cannot get myself treated by a good doctor because I cannot afford it. Earlier, I was undergoing Ayurvedic treatment for my condition, but I've stopped that as well as I don't have any money now."

Ishwar also told the daily that his mother has been bedridden since 2020 and since she remains in a semi-conscious state, she needs diapers. "She keeps urinating in her clothes, hence, she had been wearing diapers for the past two years, but now I cannot get them for her either," he shared.

Due to the financial crunch, he had to shift his brother, who suffers from schizophrenia, to an aashram. He further said, "I am very critical. Death seems better than this life now. But I cannot leave my mother and brother in this condition alone, so I continue to fight."
