Kapil Sharma's colleague Tirthanand Rao tries to take his life by consuming poison, says 'facing financial problems and my family has also left me'

Tirthanand Rao, who worked with Kapil Sharma in 2016, tried to take his life by consuming poison on December 27. As soon as his neighbour came to know about the unfortunate event, they admitted him to a nearby hospital. He is currently recovering. Like many others, Tirthanand Rao has been facing financial issues due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Besides this, the comedian was also devastated as his family members are not in touch with him.

During a conversation with a leading news channel, he revealed the same. “I had consumed poison. I am facing financial problems and my family has also left me. When I was admitted to the hospital, my mother and brother did not even reach to see me. Despite living in the same complex, my family members do not even talk to me. Even after coming from the hospital, I am staying alone at home. What could be worse than this.”

For the unversed, Tirthanand worked with Kapil in 2016 in his comedy show. Later, Tirthanand was offered a role again by Kapil. However, Tirthanand refused the role as he was busy working for a Gujarati film. Now, he is planning to ask for work again from the comedian, as soon as he recovers.
