Veteran television actor Anupam Shyam succumbed to multiple organ failure last night. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Goregaon seven days ago. Today, his funeral took place at Shivdham, Goregaon (East).
Several senior TV and film actors like Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, Yashpal Sharma and others. With a heavy heart they paid their last respects to Anupam Shyam.
For the unversed, Anupam Shyam had been suffering from kidney disease for the past one-and-a-half years. He was also under financial constraints due to growing debts and ill-health.
Anupam Shyam is known for his work in films like Dil Se, Lagaan, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Slumdog Millionaire, Bandit Queen and others. He was seen in television shows like Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, Krishna Chali London and many others.
