Amid this, there were reports that Sidharth and Shehnaaz are no longer close to each other and have drifted apart. However, the reports came from unverified sources.
Miffed with the negativity caused by the unverified report, Sidharth took an indirect jibe at the buzz. He tweeted, "Being reading a few newz articles …. Shehnaaz is yet to react to the reports.

In the month of May, Gautam Gulati told an entertainment portal that Shehnaaz and Sidharth are dating. Rumours were rife that Gautam and Shehnaaz are in love with each other. However, the Radhe actor clarified that he never saw Shehnaaz in that way.
In February this year, there was a strong buzz that Sidharth and Shehnaaz got married in December 2020. Dismissing it as false, Sidharth shared a cryptic tweet that said he is single. Replying to a fan, he wrote, "Bhai Kunwara tag acha hai ... main tho kunwara hoon fir bhi kuch media walo ne shadi shuda karar kar diya hai ... maybe they know more than I do about me."
