After recovering from COVID-19, Nikki Tamboli pledges to donate plasma

As India is battling COVID-19 in the second wave, celebrities who have recovered from the novel virus are stepping forward to donate their plasma. After Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, Bigg Boss 14's 2nd runner-up Nikki Tamboli has decided to extend a helping hand to those suffering from COVID-19. The actress had tested positive for Coronavirus in March. 

Nikki, in a statement, revealed that she will be donating plasma to COVID-19 patients at a Government hospital. "Post recovering, I have decided to donate plasma in a government hospital to the patients who cannot afford it and who are in need of the same in these dark hours. My blood group is O positive," Nikki shared. She further urged people who recovered from coronavirus to come forth.

Nikki added that her brother has also tested positive and is in the hospital for treatment. "My own brother who was recently admitted to a hospital has tested COVID-19 positive too. I am once again requesting everyone to take care of themselves. The situation out there is bad. Whenever my parents call me I get scared that what would be the news. I hope this COVID battle end super soon and please take care, everyone.”
