Coronavirus Lockdown: 'Bigg Boss 13' fame Shehnaaz Kaur Gill stranded in a Mumbai hotel with brother Shehbaz, father Santokh Singh says, 'I miss them'

Coronavirus has caused havoc across the whole world. Declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation, the novel COVID-19 has taken a huge population into its custody. As a measure to curb its impact and avoid giving birth to new patients, the Central, as well as the State Governments, called for a complete lockdown from March 25 to April 14. Due to the sudden announcement, people were stranded in different parts of the country as they had no mode of transport to reach home. Amongst several of them are Bigg Boss 13's Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and her brother Shehbaz Gill. The former was shooting for Mujhse Shaadi Karoge in Mumbai earlier in March. Due to the shutdown, Shehnaaz and Shehbaz are now staying at a hotel in the city. Talking about the same, their father-Santokh Singh Sukh, in an interview with an entertainment portal, told that the actress has signed a contract with Colors and stayed back in Mumbai even after Mujhse Shaadi Karoge ended. He added that she was scheduled to attend meetings for new shows with the channel.

"Shehnaaz has a 1-year contract with Colors TV and plans to do another show with them, so she waited back in Mumbai post Mujhse Shaadi Karoge for those meetings. After a certain point, it was not safe to travel anyway. I miss them! First, they were inside for Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and then this lockdown happened. But I don't feel worried," Santokh told.

Shehnaaz, after finding a place in Bigg Boss 13's top 3, starred in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge with her co-contestant Paras Chhabra. The show which started a day after the Salman Khan hosted reality program ended, came to an abrupt closure on March 20 due to low TRPs and ban on shoots. She went on to feature with her beloved Sidharth Shukla in the music video Bhula Dunga
