Amitabh Bachchan's fans gather outside his bungalow to catch his glimpse; the actor apologises for not making it to the Sunday meet

A while ago, reports of megastar Amitabh Bachchan being hospitalised for liver ailment did the rounds. The actor, who was said to be admitted for three days at a suburban hospital, sent a tense wave across fans, who prayed for the betterment for their beloved idol. Amitji, after taking treatment, for apparently not a liver ailment, but for an intestine complication, as per PeepingMoon.com sources, got discharged on Friday night and headed back home with his son Abhishek Bachchan. Soon after, his fans breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the star hail and hearty. And in order to greet Amitji and catch his glimpse, a score of people turned by outside his bungalow Jalsa in Juhu, on Sunday.

However, since the actor is in the process of recovery, the doctors have advised him complete rest. Considering his inability to meet his beloved audience, Amitji, on Twitter, on Monday morning, shared a picture of the scene outside his house and thanked his fans for the love and concern they have shown. He further apologised for not being able to make it outside the four walls. "I convalesce .. but they still come for the Sunday meet .. my apologies .. could not come out," Amitji wrote.

Amitji, soon after returning home from the hospital, penned down a note on his health rumours that were doing the rounds. The Pink actor through his blog requested and urged people to not indulge in spreading rumours related to health, which is of personal importance. He further thanked fans for showing their love and concern upon learning about his health.
