South sensation Anushka Shetty is all set to star in an upcoming multilingual thriller, titled Nishabdam. The first look poster of the film was released on Wednesday and introduced Anushka as Sakshi, a mute artist who expresses through her art. In the poster, Anushka can be seen looking at something and painting it on the drawing board in front of her. Directed by Hemant Madhukar, Nishabdam stars R Madhavan, Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen in key roles.

Meanwhile, the second look poster from Rajinikanth's and Nayanthara’s Darbar was also unveiled on Wednesday. it features the superstar holding on to an iron rod with all his might. By releasing the poster, the makers confirmed the release date of Darbar as 2020 Pongal. See for yourself:

In other news, rumours have been rife that Kiara Advani was being considered to play the female lead in Vijay starrer Thalapathy 64, which will be helmed by Logesh Kanagaraj. However, she reportedly turned down the big South offer. It is being said that the makers are planning to start the film's shooting sometime next month but due to Kiara's unavailability of dates, the actress could not take it up. Now the makers are on the lookout for a suitable heroine. Thalapathy 64 is expected to release in mid-2020.
