Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao starrer Ishq Vishq is soon getting its sequel and now, reports suggest that Shahid's role will be played by his younger brother Ishaan Khatter. Ishaan, who made a smashing debut last year, with Beyond The Clouds was later seen in Dhadak alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Now, the newbie is said to step into his elder brother's shoes to play the lead role in the sequel of Ishq Vishq. 

An insider informed an entertainment portal, "The makers are currently working on the script for the movie. Ishq Vishq was very young in nature, and hence, who better than Ishaan Khatter, who exhibits the required charm and innocence for the role. Apparently, the idea has been discussed with Ishaan but that's it."

Even though nothing has been locked yet and no official statement has been given out by Ishaan, it will be exciting to see him stepping into his elder brother's shoes for the film's sequel.
