The teaser of Ishaan Khatter's and Ananya Panday's Khaali Peeli had left fans excited. As the audience seated at home are waiting to take a mad ride with Ishaan and Ananya, the makers, on Monday, announced that the sawari is arriving on ZEEPlex on October 2, 2020.
The producers of Khaali Peeli, on Monday morning, revealed the premiere date and shared the latest poster too. "Saare check-naake todkar, aa reli hai ek mad ride, bole toh #KhaaliPeeli, 2nd October ko, exclusively on @zeeplexofficial!" the caption read. In the poster, we can see Ananya dressed in denim shorts and a white crop top. She is seated on the car's bonnet while cabbie Ishaan's swag is speaking volumes of his character. Ananya plays the role of Pooja and Ishaan is Blackie.
Khaali Peeli marks the maiden collaboration of Ananya and Ishaan. The film is directed by Maqbool Khan and produced by Ali Abbas Zafar with Zee Studios and Himanshu Mehra. The film features Jaideep Ahlawat as the antagonist. The action-thriller was scheduled to release in theatres on June 12, 2020, but due to the pandemic, the makers opted for a digital premiere.
Ananya and Ishaan were seen promoting the film in the city last week and then jetted off to Goa.
