The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Keerti requesting Naira to let her hug Krish and says that she will return Krish back to Naira. Kartik is shattered looking at Naira’s condition and leaves from there. Naksh takes away Keerti from there.

Naira packs Krish’s bags to take him far away from everyone and she finds Krish’s hospital tag that has Keerti's name and it breaks Naira. Naira comes with Krish and hands over Krish to Keerti and says that she cannot keep a child away from his real parents. Naira hands over Krish to Keerti with a heavy heart.

Everybody get emotional. Naira tells Keerti not to waste the time in getting sad for Naira and that they should celebrate as they got back their Krish. Keerti and Naksh leave. The family recollects Naira’s doctor's warning that Naira should never get any shock. Kartik sees Keerti and Naksh leave with Krish and realizes that Naira must be shattered. Kartik runs towards Naksh and Keerti and apologizes to them but in vain. Kartik rushes home to meet Naira. A truck hits Kartik leading to an accident.
