The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Rukmini suggesting to give little Krish to Keerti as her baby till she recovers completely. Suhasini gets mad at her. They all go to meet Keerti. Kartik decides to tell everything to Keerti and bear all the consequences. Kartik tells Kirti how happy he is as she has recovered. Keerti asks about her baby daughter. Later Keerti tells everyone that she knows about the sad truth and accepts it. Everyone is saddened by Keerti's state of mind.
Kirti calls out for her nephew Krish and Naira gets Krish to meet his aunt unaware that Keerti is his real mother. Keerti is in tears to see the baby next to her. Krish holds Kirti’s fingers and after everyone leaves, she bursts out in tears. Naira overhears the nurse talking to the caretaker about how the Krish doesn't seem to be a premature baby. Naira gets worried and the caretaker handles the situation.
Naira and Kartik spend some romantic time together. At the Goenka house, everybody gets surprised on seeing Keerti at their doorstep with Naksh. They are happy to see her recovering. Keerti looks at Krish and Naira hands over Krish to her. Keerti is happy to have little Krish playing with her. Kartik feels extremely guilty and decides to tell Keerti the truth.
